Incorporated in Jan 2003, T3G is a joint venture by NXP Semiconductors, Datang Mobile, Samsung and Motorola. T3G's founding partners are Philips, Datang Mobile, Samsung, and Motorola joined and became a new investor in Jan 2005.

By enjoying significant synergies of industry leaders of highly complementary expertise and capabilities, T3G is well positioned in the TD-SCDMA terminal field and will continue to take the lead in enabling and accelerating the industrialization of TD-SCDMA.
