History
Established as a private company in April 1996, Novatel Wireless was formerly known as the Personal Communications Products Division (PCP division) of Novatel Communications, Ltd., a Canadian telecommunications company. In November of 2000, Novatel Wireless became a public company trading on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol NVTL.
