山东亚太森博浆纸有限公司是由新加坡金鹰国际集团旗下亚太资源集团控股的大型制浆造纸现代化合资企业，其中亚太资源集团占90%股权，日照市第一轻工业公司和山东省国际信托公司各占5%的股权。公司一期工程总投资29.3亿元人民币，2002年10月正式竣工投产, 2005年8月在原山东日照森博浆纸有限责任公司基础上经股权转让改制而成中外合资企业，2006年完成技术改造，现年产漂白硫酸盐木浆31.5万吨、高档白卡纸板17万吨。
为了进一步把企业做大做强，亚太森博在现有基础上投资113亿元人民币扩建年产100万吨漂白硫酸盐商品木浆项目。该项目的环保设施经过国家环保部严格的环评审批，环保投资达30.3亿元，占总投资的26.9%。该项目于2007年4月28日经国家发改委核准，预计2010年建成，建成后将成为中国最大的制浆企业，也是世界上最大的单条制浆生产线之一。 亚太森博的主要工艺技术装备从欧美等制浆造纸发达国家引进，达到国际先进水平。目前公司的单条生产线制浆能力在国内排名第二位,公司采用当今世界最先进的环保工艺、技术、设备，生产过程中产生的排放物完全达到或优于国家有关标准，多次被评为清洁生产先进单位、节能减排先进单位、全国优秀外商投资企业等。 Shandong Asia Pacific SSYMB Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. (APRIL SSYMB) is a large modern pulp & paper joint venture holding by APRIL Group, a member of Singapore based RGM International. APRIL holds 90% shares, Rizhao First Light Industry Company and Shandong International Trust Corporation holds 5% respectively. The first phase project started operation in Oct. 2002, with investment of RMB 2.93 billion. The Company was acquired into a joint venture in August 2005, based on former Shandong Rizhao SSYMB Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. A technical reform finished in 2006, after that, its production capacity for bleached kraft pulp reaches 315,000 tons and paperboard 170,000 ton per annum. Its current installing capacity is the second largest in China.
APRIL SSYMB invests RMB 11.3 billion to build second phase project, with a production capacity for bleached kraft marketing pulp 1 million ton per annum. The environmental protection facilities were approved by National Environmental Protection Ministry after strict examination. The environmental protection investment for the project is RMB 3.03 billion accounting for 26.9% of the whole investment. The project was approved on 28th April, 2007 by National Development & Reform Commission. APRIL SSYMB will be the largest pulp mill in China when the project starts operation in 2010 .The project is also one of the largest pulp lines in the world. APRIL SSYMB imported state-of-the-art technologies and equipments from developed pulp and paper countries in Europe and America, its pollutant discharging is up to or better than national standard. In recent years, for its outstanding performance, it was awarded as Advanced Clean Production BU, Advanced BU for Energy Saving & Pollutant Discharging, Excellent Foreign Investment BU, etc.
